The Hall stands within beautiful extensive grounds, surrounded by mature trees and shrubs and landscaped gardens.
The buildings are on three floors, accessed by a lift. Ground floor consists of two large, well-decorated lounges. Well-fitted dining room, and large bright conservatory.
Reception, visitor's toilet, office, kitchen. Basement, Laundry and stores.
The home is small, homely and friendly, but provides a vary high standard of 24-hour care, both nursing and residential.
Bedrooms are all on the second and third floor and are fully furnished, and well decorated, but residents are welcome to personalize their rooms to their own taste, and are welcome to bring along any furniture of their own. All rooms are of good proportion, meeting all regulation standards, fitted with nurse call systems, T.V. socket, and private phones can be installed (installation cost payable). Some rooms have en-suite facilities. Double room facility is available on request. The home has an extensive fire alarm system throughout the building.
The security, comfort and standard of living that are available allow residents and their families to start a new chapter in the lives, in a gentle and reassuring manner.
Experiencing home life for the first time, they will be pleasantly surprised at the independence they can maintain whilst being free from every day worries. Activities are regularly available and encouraged, and resident's personal preferences are respected.
A variety of entertainment is available in - house, also day trips, evening trips, family evenings, parties and quizzes.

Regular visits from the Dentist, Optician, Chiropodist, or escorted local visits if preferred. The Hairdresser visits weekly (at an extra cost). Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at any time, and are encouraged to join in life within the home as much as possible.
The well-equipped kitchen provides nourishing and tasty meals with lots of choice and prepared by our qualified kitchen staff.

Residents and relatives are cordially invited to come and feel the warm friendly environment. Should you wish to visit please give us a ring and arrange for a senior member of staff to be available to show you around and answer any of your questions.
Pre-admission
Prior to admission the manager will do a full care assessment, so that an appropriate care package can be designed to achieve the best and most suitable care for our new resident.
The fees charged at Thurnscoe Hall, complies with the Local Authority. |
